We are looking for a wellbeing activities coordinator to join our dedicated Wellbeing Service at Teesside Hospice. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comfort, improve self-esteem, general wellbeing and connection to those accessing our specialist palliative care service.
About the Role
As a Wellbeing Activities coordinator, you will plan, develop and deliver a wide range of person-centred group and one to one activities designed to promote wellbeing, social interaction, and emotional support.
Activities may include:
- Creative arts and crafts
- Reminiscence and life story work
- Music and movement sessions
- Themed events and seasonal celebrations
You will work closely with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team – including nurses, therapists & volunteers – to ensure that every activity is meaningful, inclusive and responsive to the individual needs of those in our care.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate and creative
- Experienced in planning and facilitating group activities or therapeutic sessions
- Skilled in engaging with people
- An excellent communicator and team player
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively
- Committed to delivering high quality, person-centred care
Previous experience in a health, social care, community arts or wellbeing role is desirable, but above all we value your passion and ability to connect with others.
