Teespro Recruitment are working with a successful Teesside-based engineering services company that provides engineering and project expertise to the Process / FMCG industries.
They are currently seeking to recruit a Project Planner / Coordinator to support the delivery of a major capital project.

This role will be responsible for assisting with planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of project activities to ensure timely and efficient execution.
The Project Planner will serve as a key liaison between subcontractors, team members, the client, and management, ensuring alignment of tasks, deadlines, and resources.
Role and responsibilities of a Project Planner / Coordinator:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes and action items.
- Monitor risks and issues, escalating concerns to project leadership when necessary.
- Support resource planning, workload distribution, and time tracking.
- Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
- Facilitate clear communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards, processes, and best practices.
- Provide administrative and operational support to project managers.
The ideal background of a Project Planner / Coordinator:
- Relevant qualification in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or planning.
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, P6).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus.
- Full UK s Driver s licence
