A vacancy has arisen for a dedicatedand reliablefull time Work Boat Master at PD Ports within the Marine Department.
Location: Marine Department, Vulcan Street, Middlesbrough, TS2 1LX
Working Arrangements: week on / week off
Responsibilities
- Operation and navigation of the work boat in accordance with maritime laws and company procedures.
- Supervision and management of crew.
- Responding to emergencies and implementing safety drills and procedures.
- Coordinating with Port authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Overseeing ploughing operations
What we are seeking
- Experience of ploughing operations
- Work Boat command experience
- Has minimum advanced powerboat CoC (commercial endorsed)
- Holds a valid ENG 1 Medical certification
- Experience in maintenance and servicing of Navigational Aids would be desirable
