Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive looking for the next step in your career?
We're seeking a talented Associate to join our well-established Private Client team in Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a high-quality and varied caseload while building lasting client relationships, mentoring junior colleagues, and playing a key role in the continued growth of the team.
Working alongside Partners and senior colleagues, you'll advise clients on a broad range of private client matters and contribute to the firm's reputation for delivering exceptional client service.
Key responsilities:
- Manage a complex portfolio of private client matters with limited supervision.
- Advise clients on wills, trusts, probate, estate administration and inheritance tax planning.
- Handle Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters and trust administration.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Build strong client and introducer relationships and identify opportunities to add value.
- Contribute to networking, marketing and business development activities.
- Support continuous improvement through the use of technology and efficient working practices.
- Keep up to date with developments in Private Client law and share knowledge across the team.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
- Strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.
- Ability to manage complex matters independently.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and client care skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
