Sales and Business Development Manager (Commercial Facilities)

A dynamic sales and business development manager is required to drive the commercialisation of university property assets, specialist facilities, managed workspace and event and conference space. The successful candidate will identify, secure, and manage new tenants, commercial partners, and business clients for university-owned facilities. The role will focus on increasing occupancy levels, growing rental and conference income, and promoting specialist facilities and technical environments, as well as supporting the university’s wider strategic objectives for commercialising university assets. If you don’t quite meet the criteria for this post, please keep an eye on our job vacancies page—other opportunities may be a better match for your skills and experience. If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place in person, on campus.

Interviews will take place on 19 November 2026. Every member of our university is part of the inspiring, supportive, and caring community known as Team Teesside. To learn more about Team Teesside click here .

  • Special leave to support a range of circumstances.
