The role holder will be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the Student Eye Clinic. They will perform various reception desk duties including management of patient bookings and dealing with telephone enquiries from patients.
Working with the clinic practice manager they will also undertake some data analysis using the XeyeX patient management system.
Applicants should have recent receptionist experience, preferably within an optical practice, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work in a busy clinic environment. They should have good IT skills, be able to multitask and work collaboratively and flexibly.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
