Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality administrative service to departmental managers
  • Welcome visitors
  • Assist with diary management
  • Maintain accurate filing systems
  • Organise meetings and meeting rooms, prepare spaces and set up screen sharing and conferencing technology
  • Coordinate basic facilities tasks to ensure a safe and well-organised working environment
  • Provide first-line technical support for hybrid meetings and presentations

Qualifications

  • Good organisational skills and a willingness to develop effective time management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to build positive working relationships
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn screen sharing and conferencing platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom)
  • Interest in supporting facilities coordination and meeting room set-up; full training provided
  • Ability to manage tasks and learn how to prioritise effectively with guidance
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Confidence to support front-of-house/reception duties and welcome visitors in a professional manner
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn new skills and support the wider team; competence in Leadership & Direction, Communication & Influence, Experience & Technical, Responsibility & Accountability
