We are looking for an experienced Nurse to undertake the exciting role of Associate Nurse Consultant to join our journey to change and improve the local community’s experience with mental health services, adopting a "no wrong door approach".

We encourage discussions and we happy for potential staff to come along to visit, our base and discuss opportunities and get to know the MDT. Within this role we will support you to expand on your knowledge and expertise with opportunity to develop special interests such as complex case management, expert supervision and role modelling as well as leading on community transformation and engaging with partner agencies.

The Community team provides complex interventions supporting people with severe and enduring mental health conditions whilst our Community Hub CMHT will support with short term interventions in collaboration with partner agencies and voluntary partners.

We are looking for a candidate who is an independent prescriber who can initiate & review medications for our patient base in line with NICE guidelines and clinical pathways.

We are looking for a team player to assist to support the team in delivering person centred recovery-based approaches and provide quality assurance on a governance level., The Associate Nurse Consultant will be an experienced practitioner who is able to demonstrate a very high degree of personal and professional skill in the care of Adults with complex mental health conditions.

The ANC will carry caseload, as well as supporting clinicians with their own complex cases. The ANC will lead on complex or urgent MDT’s and complex risk formulations.

In the role of ANC, you will provide the clinical leadership to enable the provision of a defined, recovery-focused service. It is expected that this post will work collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Specialists as a senior leadership team alongside the operational team manager.

To ensure the quality of patient experience and the requisite level of training and supervision is achieved and maintained.
