Overview
An exciting opportunity to join the Secure Inpatient Service Admin Team at Roseberry Park, an inpatient forensic mental health unit serving the Tees Valley area. The ward office is central to a high-activity environment. The role supports the Nursing team, Consultants, Medics and the wider Secure Inpatient Service teams to deliver safe and high-quality care for service users. Applicants should have the Right to Work in the UK and be prepared to contribute to a team focused on positive change within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide pivotal administrative support to the ward teams as part of the Secure Inpatient Service Admin Team.
- Work closely with nursing staff, consultants, medics and wider service teams to facilitate day-to-day operations and high-quality patient care.
- Handle a variety of admin tasks in a busy ward environment, contributing to efficient ward operations and patient support.
- Support an inclusive and respectful workplace aligned with the Trust\’s goals and policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
- Health care experience is not required, but a patient-focused approach, strong customer service skills and a can-do attitude are important.
- Ability to multitask, communicate confidently, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and build strong working relationships with a range of colleagues.
