As an Information Governance Assistant, you'll play a key role in how we manage and protect information; supporting essential services while building valuable experience in governance, compliance and data protection. Key responsibilities
- Managing and logging FOI, EIR, DSAR and other requests
- Retrieving and preparing records from Council systems
- Coordinating requests to ensure timely responses
- Supporting secure handling of confidential information
- Working with services across the Council
- Providing administrative and project support to the team
Key qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Confidence using IT systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Experience in admin or record‑keeping
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C or equivalent)
