SPLASH
This impressive wet and dry community facility comprises; 2 swimming pools, fun flumes, wild waves and bubble pool, a two-storey health and fitness suite, 2 x fitness studios, multi-activity hall and a café.
THE ROLE
You will deliver an excellent customer service, through effective supervision and leadership of all operational team members. You will ensure the smooth running of the centre’s day-to-day activities and programme, acting as the primary point for solving customer and team member issues, whilst being responsible for the security, cleanliness, health and safety of the building and everyone in it. You will act as the building keyholder and take responsibility for ensuring the Splash remains a safe, smart, fully functioning community space during opening hours. Hours will cover the full operating hours - Monday to Sunday, working on a three-week shift pattern. We are committed to safeguarding and therefore the posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
ABOUT YOU
This varied and challenging role requires pace, energy, resilience and high standards. With a proven track record of supervising a team, you will need to be customer-focussed, an effective leader and be able to deal with complex customer and facilities issues. Previous employee supervision and a minimum of 12-month experience in a supervisory role is essential. You must have or be willing to attain on appointment:
- a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- a National Pool Plant Operators certificate
- a First Aid at Work qualification
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualification
- Management/supervisory qualification
