If you're a high-performing German Speaking Business Development Manager who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and winning major commercial partnerships, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. We're partnering with one of Europe's most innovative marketing technology businesses, helping some of the world's biggest Consumer Electronics brands drive billions in customer engagement through cashback promotions, trade-in programmes, gift-with-purchase campaigns, loyalty programmes and customer retention solutions. Now they're investing heavily in Germany. And they're looking for one exceptional Business Development Manager to lead that growth.

This isn't about maintaining existing accounts. This is about creating something remarkable.

The Opportunity

Imagine being trusted to build one of the company's most important growth markets. You'll become the commercial face of the business across Germany, identifying opportunities with Consumer Electronics retailers, manufacturers, distributors, mobile networks and strategic partners. You'll introduce innovative promotional solutions that genuinely help your clients sell more products, increase customer loyalty and outperform their competitors. You'll have the freedom to build relationships with senior decision makers, influence commercial strategy and become recognised as a trusted adviser within one of Europe's most exciting industries. If you love consultative selling, opening new doors and turning conversations into long-term partnerships, you'll love this role.

What You'll Be Doing

As the successful German Speaking Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Build and develop an exciting pipeline of new business opportunities throughout Germany.
  • Prospect, engage and win new Consumer Electronics retailers, manufacturers, distributors and mobile networks.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations that uncover client challenges and create tailored commercial solutions.
  • Advise customers on promotional strategies including cashback, trade-in, gift-with-purchase, loyalty and retention campaigns.
  • Become a trusted commercial adviser rather than simply another salesperson.
  • Analyse market trends and use commercial insight to create opportunities with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Marketing to generate high-quality leads and campaigns.
  • Build accurate sales forecasts and consistently achieve ambitious revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close complex sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an excellent CRM pipeline with clear forecasting and reporting.
  • Travel across Germany when required to meet clients and develop relationships.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in ambitious, commercially driven Business Development professionals who genuinely enjoy winning new business. You could currently be:

  • A Key Account Manager with significant new business responsibility.

Most importantly, you'll have the confidence to open new doors and develop meaningful commercial relationships. You'll ideally bring:

  • Native German speaker with fluent English.
  • A minimum of four years' successful Business Development or New Business experience.
  • Experience selling into, or working within, Consumer Electronics, IT, Technology Distribution or related sectors.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing revenue and profitability.
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
  • Confidence engaging with senior decision makers.
  • Strong CRM discipline and forecasting ability.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude or Gemini to improve sales productivity and prospecting.
  • A naturally curious mindset that enjoys understanding customer challenges before presenting solutions.

We'd Especially Love To Hear From You If...

You've previously worked with Consumer Electronics retailers or manufacturers across Germany. Or perhaps you've worked in technology distribution managing vendor or partner relationships. Maybe you've sold promotional marketing, loyalty programmes, cashback campaigns or customer engagement solutions. Whatever your background, if you know the German Consumer Electronics market and love winning new business, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Receive

  • Uncapped bonus with realistic six-figure earning potential.
  • Excellent benefits package.
  • Hybrid working (ideally two days per week in West London).
  • Genuine autonomy to build your own territory.
  • Career progression within an international organisation.
  • Opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest Consumer Electronics brands.

This Isn't A Job For Everyone...

It's for someone who enjoys the thrill of creating opportunities where others see obstacles. Someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone. Someone who believes every conversation could become a long-term commercial partnership. Someone who enjoys competing, learning and continually improving. If that's you, we'd love to hear your story.
