Recruitment / Talent Manager, up to £85,000 + 20% Bonus Benefits, London (City) Based, Hybrid working i.e. 3 Days in Office, 2 working from home.
Overview of the Recruitment / Talent Manager (RPO):
Duties:
- You’ll work with both key stakeholders and the wider talent team to deliver hiring goals within the business.
- The Recruitment / Talent Manager will manage a team of 2 Recruiters & 2 Recruitment Coordinators to ensure they provide a positive recruitment delivery to the business.
- The Recruitment and Talent Manager will help build out strategies to attract great talent to add to the company's capability and continued growth.
- Drive the direct sourcing process to ensure that agency usage is minimised as best it can be.
- Oversight of the Recruitment P&L sheet to ensure the business is profitable and value is being fully added.
- You’ll provide strong relationship management between the recruitment delivery team, hiring managers and partners.
- You will provide updates on hiring status, advice on creative sourcing strategies whilst coaching the recruiters on the best approach to secure the best talent into the business.
- Leading by example, you will build strong working relationships with your peers to demonstrate the ability to attract the best talent into the business.
- The Recruitment & Talent Manager's time will be balanced by:
- Managing the recruitment team (4 Direct reports) to ensure that the end client receives the very best recruitment service & delivery from your team.
- Working closely with The Head of Talent and key business stakeholders to truly business partner the business to ensure that the recruitment & talent function delivers against what the business needs, whilst ensuring the talent strategy is robust enough to cope with any future business changes.
- Being hands on with recruitment and working more senior level positions that will need a more experienced manager to support on.
Other Duties will include:
- Advertising, Attracting, Headhunting, Networking, Interviewing, Matching, Sourcing, Negotiation, liaison with 3rd party agencies and ensuring a positive recruitment journey for both potential employees and managers alike.
Ideal Background:
- Previous Recruitment / Talent Management experience gained within either a RPO or internal talent function would be preferred.
- RPO or In house Recruitment experience gained within either a Financial Services or Insurance sector would be a strong advantage to this position.
- We are looking for you to also have super strong communication and engagement skills, being a great Talent Manager isn’t just about finding people, as this position is managing a team of recruiters, we are looking for a good man manager to get the very best from your team.
- Experience of using the CRM WorkDay would be an advantage to this role (although this isn’t an essential).
- The Recruitment & Talent Manager will need to have strong emotional intelligence and be able to build great working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You will also be able to engage and connect at such a level where potential hires are so enthused and engaged, they show full commitment to the role and company in question.
- Team Leadership or Management of a team of recruiters experience would be a strong advantage to this role.
