We are seeking a Guest Lecturer to deliver Robotics, Systems, Configuration & Programming during the Autumn Semester 2026. Based in Workington, Cumbria
Teaching Commitment
- Tuesday and Wednesday teaching sessions
- Total of 6 teaching days
Teaching Dates
- 13 & 14 October 2026
- 10 & 11 November 2026
- 1 & 2 December 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging postgraduate-level teaching in robotics, systems engineering, configuration, and programming.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical learning activities.
- Provide academic guidance and feedback to students.
- Work with the programme team to ensure successful module delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Masterβs degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Robotics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Nuclear Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong subject expertise in robotics and programming.
- Previous teaching, training, or industry experience.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience teaching at postgraduate level.
- Industry experience in robotics, automation, engineering, or the nuclear sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist academic or industry professional to contribute to a postgraduate programme through delivery of a single module over six teaching days.
