About the Role
Teem Recruitment is working with a leading engineering company to recruit a PCN Level 3 Test Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, well‑equipped testing facility and play a key role in ensuring the quality of precision‑engineered components for the naval and aerospace industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform non‑destructive testing (NDT) including Dye Penetrant Testing to PCN Level 3 standard
- Carry out destructive tests such as tensile, shear (single and double), and metallurgical (Mets) testing
- Operate and maintain advanced testing equipment
- Complete accurate documentation and certification for all tests
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
- PCN Level 3 certification in Dye Penetrant Testing
- Experience in both destructive and non‑destructive testing
- Knowledge of aerospace and naval component standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable Skills
- Experience with PMI testing
- Familiarity with ASME, API, and BSEN standards
- Previous work in defence or aerospace sectors
