We are seeking a proactive and reliable Site Supervisor to join a school in the Otley area. This hands‑on role is vital in ensuring the smooth running, safety, and general maintenance of the school site.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day‑to‑day maintenance and security of the school site.
- Lock and secure the school premises at the end of each day.
- Carry out minor repairs, general DIY tasks, and gritting when required.
- Manage and monitor Health & Safety compliance, including fire alarm testing, Legionella checks, and risk assessments.
- Ensure the site is clean, safe, and fully operational at all times.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers as required.
- Support school events with setup and site logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and compliance activities.
- Previous experience as a School Caretaker or Site Supervisor.
- Strong maintenance and practical DIY skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance regulations, including Fire Safety and Legionella procedures.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage workload independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate and be available to start immediately.
- Must be a UK resident and eligible to work in the UK.
