We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Biology Teacher to join a thriving department in Luton. This is a full-time temporary position starting as soon as possible, with the potential for extension.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching and raising attainment at BTEC Level 3 and A-Level.
Essential Requirements- Recent experience teaching Biology to students aged 16+
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching BTEC Level 3 and A-Level classes
- Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Availability to start ASAP
- Passionate about Biology education
- Inspire, motivate, and challenge learners of all abilities
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to raising student achievement
- Work collaboratively and contribute positively to the department
- Show dedication to continuous professional development
- Deliver the full range of timetabled Biology lessons
