Additional Learning Support (ALS) Assistant

The Role

Our client are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Additional Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Assist in adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
  • Support students in developing study skills, organisation, and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the ALS team to implement support plans.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the ALS Coordinator.
