About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a well-respected school in Thornton-Cleveleys.
This is a vital role in ensuring the school provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both students and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning duties throughout the school premises.
- Open and lock the school building each day.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas.
- Prioritise cleaning tasks effectively to ensure all duties are completed on time.
- Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas are clean, safe, and well organised.
- Ideal Candidate
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar environment.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Holds a valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or is willing to obtain one, if applicable).
- Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in delivering high standards of work.
