An experienced Premises Project Manager is required to support the delivery of four major building projects. The role will provide additional capacity to the Estates team and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of compliance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate three significant capital projects:
- Development of a Student Study Centre at one site, with a budget of £3m (Phase 1).
- CIF Project 1: Replacement of electrical infrastructure and fire alarm systems across a site, with a budget of £2.8m.
- CIF Project 2: Replacement of heating systems and installation of ventilation across two buildings, with a budget of £2.7m.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the Estates Manager, CFO, senior leadership, contractors, and external consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure staff, lettings teams, and IT teams are consulted as projects progress.
- Plan and coordinate any required changes to site access with relevant stakeholders.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all projects meet statutory requirements, health and safety standards, and building regulations.
Budget & Timeline Control
- Monitor project budgets and delivery schedules.
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide regular progress updates to the CFO and senior leadership team.
