About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching at Level 3, including topics such as surveying, measurement, building technology, design and construction science.
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant construction subject
- Previous experience teaching design, surveying and planning at Level 3
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding and learner support
- Current Enhanced DBS
T Level construction teaching experience is desirable.
Ideally, You Will
- Live within approximately one hour’s commute of Ipswich
- Have experience teaching T Levels in Construction
- Have existing teaching resources and be able to start teaching with minimal preparation
- Be confident delivering both theoretical and practical construction skills

- Plan and deliver engaging construction lessons
- Assess and monitor learner progress
- Support learners to achieve their full potential
- Develop learners’ theoretical and practical skills
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and safeguarding
- Work effectively with colleagues and learners
