My client is looking for a GCSE English Lecturer to work at an establishment around the Cwmbran area. This is a Full-time Temporary Position to start in September 2025 initially until March 2026 and it will be working 5 full days per week (8.30am-4.30pm- Monday to Friday).
To be considered YOU MUST have:
• Recent experience working as an English Teacher/Lecturer within an educational setting
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching GCSE classes
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS
• Be registered to the EWC
• Be available to start in September 2025

• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning

• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department
• Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
