We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Barnet area. This is a full-time, temporary position for the remainder of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective DT lessons at KS3 and GCSE, and Product Design at A-Level.
- Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to students of all abilities.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to help students reach their full potential.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Recent experience teaching Design & Technology.
- Recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
- Proven experience teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level.
- Current Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Available to start ASAP.
