My client is looking for a Drama Teacher to work at a School around the Burton-upon-Trent area. This is a Part-time Temporary Position to start in September 2025 initially until December 2025 and it will be teaching KS3 & GCSE classes.

To be considered YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Recent experience working as a Drama Teacher
  • A Relevant Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • Experience of teaching the KS3 & GCSE classes
  • Be available to start in September 2025

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
  • Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
  • A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum
  • Experience of curriculum development
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
  • Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
  • Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents
