Teem Recruitment is seeking an experienced Office Manager to support a busy and friendly school environment. This is a full-time temporary role with some flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the office
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership
- Supervise office and support staff, including appraisals
- Handle ordering, stock control, and invoice processing
- Manage finances, including payments and debt follow-up
- Maintain accurate pupil and staff records and data systems
- Coordinate admissions and administrative procedures
- Organise supply cover and maintain staff absence records
- Support meetings, communications, and general office duties
- Liaise with external services and support activities
- Ensure an efficient reception and communication service
- Produce reports and maintain accurate data records
- Support safeguarding, health & safety, and first aid where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in an office management role (school setting preferred)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Experience supervising staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and solve problems
- Enhanced DBS
- Available to start immediately
