We're a premium golf improvement venue in central London, 100% founder-owned by two of the UK's most qualified golf instructors. We're not a driving range or a bar with bays; we exist to measurably improve golfers and are building the systems and team to do it at scale.

Over the last three months, we've started a significant innovation journey, rethinking our model from the ground up to do something no one else in the industry is doing. Multi-site expansion is the goal, and we're building the foundations now.

We're hiring a General Manager. This role exists because both founders are deeply involved in the product — coaching, innovation, commercial strategy. We need someone who can own the people and operational layer completely, so we can focus on what we're best at.

You'll be responsible for leading a team of seven and helping run a seven-figure business in central London.

What you'll own:

  • A team of seven amazing individuals across sales and marketing, membership, custom fit, and ops
  • Day-to-day operations — keeping the business running without noise reaching the founders
  • Co-leading strategic projects as we scale to new sites
  • Performance, reporting, culture, and the rhythm of the team

What success looks like:

  • Build a high-performing leadership rhythm across the business
  • Take ownership of day-to-day operations so founders can focus on innovation and growth
  • Improve accountability, reporting and performance management across all departments
  • Play a key role in preparing the business for multi-site expansion

You're probably right for this if:

  • You've managed people properly — real performance conversations, not just check-ins
  • You've worked in a founder-led business and you know what that pace feels like. Things move quickly here. Decisions that take months in larger businesses often happen in a day.
  • You're calm, self-directed, and high-trust
  • You're already using AI tools in your work and you're curious about what's next
  • You come from leisure, hospitality, fitness, or sport
  • You'll thrive in this role if you're comfortable creating structure rather than waiting for it.

We're ambitious, low-ego, highly accountable and obsessed with continuous improvement.

The package:

£50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, plus 5% performance bonus. For the right person who grows with the business, there is a clear path to Head of Operations and beyond. As we expand to more sites, this role is designed to evolve into a senior operational leadership position.

If you're successful, you'll have genuine authority to make decisions and improve the business. We're not looking for someone to manage tasks; we're looking for someone to help build the company.

To apply:

Send Liam McCrossan a short note on why this interests you and a brief summary of your experience via direct message or email only. No agencies.
