About The Role: This is an incredible opportunity to join a small, dynamic management team with ambitious growth goals at an incredibly exciting stage of the business. This is a management level role that sits across all functions, maintaining and growing core capability and competences, defending profitability and continuing to manage the business towards a suitable exit in years to come. You will be responsible for ensuring slick day-to-day operation for existing clients whilst building and embedding new client teams along with playing a key role in the future direction and growth of the agency working very closely with the MD and CEO.

The candidate for this role must be exceptionally driven, obsessive about work success, and proven with an entrepreneurial commercial mind-set, relationship focus and operational nous. If you are struck excited by this challenge and opportunity to test yourself; we would like to meet you!

About You: Minimum 10 years’ experience with competitor agencies and currently doing this role or an equivalent. A proven leader / manager / client servicer with undeniable entrepreneurial / commercial qualities that other team members will aspire towards. Operational, executional and personnel development excellence – you will have previously done the jobs of the people whom you manage in the agency, and so will be able to coach from experience. Proven at ‘business development’ and ‘new business’ and pitching. Able to demonstrate detailed and proven sustained financial growth, and be comfortable discussing numbers with our FD, MD and CEO. Lateral thinker, cognisant of threats, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses and how changing industry environment affect us dynamically. A natural relationship builder and superb communicator – both written and oral regardless of seniority or status whilst equally comfortable having difficult conversations. A team player, who manages for nuance, able to see and acknowledge team and individual excellence, and reward proportionately.

Role Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the daily operational running of our teams, providing sage council and guidance, keeping your ear to the ground to ensure potential challenges are headed off early whilst identifying opportunities near and far.
  • You will manage agency workflow against agreed KPIs defined by the proven business model of the agency with regular reporting to the MD.
  • Oversee all departments ensuring smooth daily running which challenging and identifying progression opportunity for colleagues, accounts and the business alike.
  • Support, guide and develop managers across the team to ensure smooth daily running of all teams and projects adding your own spin to our dynamic, collaborative, ambitious team culture.
  • Attract, develop and retain the best talent for the agency acting as coach and mentor transferring knowledge and expertise.
  • Liaise with MD and FD on revenue targets, ensuring they are met on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, presenting Ted Experience as the go-to workforce solution provider.
  • Leverage our proprietary technology and how this upgrades client work.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across multiple industries.
  • Create, own and implement pitch process, supported by the wider team, taking responsibility for leading key project and client wins.
  • Have a proactive contact strategy for prospective clients utilising personal network and industry to get on pitch lists.
