Claims Customer Service Advisors are instrumental in ensuring new and existing customers experience outstanding service via all communication channels (E-mail, telephone, socials & livechat).
Responsibilities:
- Building rapport with internal and external customers and vet practices to establish excellent communication & relationships.
- Respond to all written and phone enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Assist to ensure targets and performance standards are consistently achieved in line with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring company service standards are always met.
- To continue to improve the customer/broker experience ensuring they receive a professional and efficient service as well as identifying solutions for improvements and enhancing the customer service provisions.
- Maintain high quality output and achieve SLAs and KPIs.
- Assist Claims with calls and contacting vets to obtain all information required in the claims assessments.
- Accurate and regular data entry.
- Processing quotes from customers directly in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.
- Take ownership and support the Claims teams (Admin/Assessors).
Qualifications / About you:
- Confident in the use of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong team player with great organisation skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and work in general.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
- Previous telephone experience (desirable).
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
- Experience of working to time-based target.
- Ability to prioritise workload and organise time efficiently.
