The Manager, People Operations will lead the execution of People Operations for the UK while also supporting global People Operations initiatives across RWS Global. This role is responsible for ensuring core HR processes run efficiently, consistently, and in compliance across multiple regions. You will partner closely with regional stakeholders and internal teams to deliver a structured, scalable, and high‑quality employee experience across the organization. This is a hands‑on role suited for a burgeoning operator who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, globally connected environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, leave management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure employee documentation, contracts, and records are accurate, compliant, and aligned across regions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for operational HR matters, resolving issues with sound judgment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to simplify workflows and increase global consistency.
  • Own HR systems administration (HiBob), ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and workflow standardization.
  • Maintain global reporting on headcount, employee movements, and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure adherence to local employment requirements while supporting consistent global standards.
  • Support audits, right‑to‑work and equivalent compliance processes, and documentation practices across regions.
  • Partner across People, Finance, and business teams to ensure alignment on People Operations processes.
  • Manage and develop a People Operations team member, setting expectations for performance and service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3‑5 years in People Operations or HR Operations.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management and multi‑country HR operations.
  • Strong HR systems experience (HiBob preferred), including data management and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and scale operations across regions.
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across global teams.
