THE ROLE
My client, an established firm of PQS, now seeks an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join them in Edinburgh. You will work on projects across a range of sectors including commercial offices, residential, some infrastructure and more. They are keen to find an ambitious QS who has been working for a firm of PQS, MRICS qualified who can “hit the ground running”. My client offers good prospects to move up within the firm.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large firm of PQS with a good range of clients mainly in the private sector and public sectors. They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be keen to join a PQS as an Associate Quantity Surveyor. You should currently be either a Senior QS or Associate QS with another firm of PQS.
- Experience working on projects across a range of sectors including commercial offices, large residential, some infrastructure and more.
- Excellent experience of all pre and post contract QS duties.
- MRICS qualified.
- Ability to supervise others.
- Stable work record.
- Excellent English (written and spoken), good IT skills, and good client-facing skills.
Salary is in the region of ÂŁ60,000 to ÂŁ70,000 plus pension contribution plus RICS fees, ongoing training and other benefits.
