Project Manager in London)

THE ROLE

My client is now seeking a Project Manager to join their Central London office to work on a range of projects for owners and investors.

Projects will include offices, residential, hotels, and mixed-use buildings.

You will be responsible for the entire project from feasibility stage through to completion.

You will work across the whole development cycle, with involvement in the delivery phase from pre-construction, contract management, and through occupation.

My client is a successful firm of consultants working as development managers, project managers, and cost managers.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Project Manager with experience in the following areas:

1. Feasibility and viability assessments
2. Contributing to architectural and technical design
3. Managing professional consultants through planning and construction phases
4. Driving the project programme and critical path throughout the development cycle to practical completion
5. Identifying new business and investment opportunities
6. Understanding and managing client expectations regarding Employers\’ Requirements and Project Brief
7. Managing the tender process alongside the Quantity Surveyor
8. Reviewing and contributing to building design from concept to construction documentation stages
9. Assisting with the negotiation and procurement of Main and Sub-Contractors
10. Managing the design team to maintain momentum on design requirements and meet project milestones
11. Obtaining statutory approvals and ensuring compliance
12. Collaborating with the Quantity Surveyor to produce initial cost plans and budgets
13. Reviewing and approving monthly drawdowns and valuations to ensure budgets are met

You should have a Degree in a construction or property-related subject, e.g., Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, or similar.

Experience working within the real estate sector as a construction or property professional is essential.

The salary is negotiable, approximately £65,000 to £75,000 per annum, plus pension, professional fees, bonus, etc.
