THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for an ASSOCIATE BUILDING SURVEYOR who is MRICS qualified to join a boutique firm of consultants with long-standing clients in the City of London. The role involves both project and professional work.

The client base primarily consists of end users and occupiers.

Projects include office fit outs, cut & carve, external refurbishment, with duties such as project management, contract administration, dilapidations, and more.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your client portfolio. The ideal candidate will also be involved in networking and business development.

For the right person, there is potential for progression to Director level.

THE COMPANY

The company is a firm of construction consultants providing Building Surveying, Project Management, and Cost Management services.

They have a long-standing client base and are currently very busy.

Most work is based in the City of London and Central London areas.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor at Associate or Senior level, with readiness to step up to Associate.

You should be chartered with the RICS and have experience with a UK firm of chartered building surveyors or other multi-disciplinary consultants.

You will possess strong technical knowledge and broad-based building surveying experience.

A good understanding of the building process is essential to meet with clients and manage projects at all stages.

A stable work record with other construction consultancy firms is preferred.

Excellent written and spoken English skills are required, along with confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels.

An interest in networking and business development is desirable.

The salary range is £80,000 to £90,000, plus a £4,000 car allowance, bonus based on invoicing, life insurance, pension contributions, lifestyle perks, and other benefits.
