At Ted, we’re building something smarter in staffing. We work with some of the world’s biggest brands to deliver scalable workforce solutions—sales, demos, sampling, audits—all powered by Ted Tech, our proprietary platform.
The Role
We’re looking for a Staffing Director to own and lead all staffing for our client field teams across multiple campaigns, brands, and markets. This is a senior, business-critical role responsible for ensuring we can consistently and reliably staff at scale, from always-on programs to high-volume campaign spikes. You’ll lead the entire staffing function, setting strategy, building and running the operating model, and managing the team that delivers it. You’ll sit at the intersection of operations and talent making sure we always have the right people, in the right places, at the right time. This role blends strategy, leadership, and execution: you’ll design how staffing works at Ted, but also stay close enough to delivery to ensure it actually works in practice.
What You’ll Do
- Own all field staffing across Ted covering multiple clients, campaigns, and workforce types (sales, demo, sampling, audit, etc.).
- Lead and scale the staffing operations team, ensuring clear ownership, performance standards, and development paths.
- Build and run the end-to-end staffing engine: forecasting demand, building supply, allocating talent, and ensuring fulfilment.
- Partner closely with Client Services, Operations, and Leadership to translate campaign plans into realistic, scalable staffing strategies.
- Create and own workforce planning models for:
- Always-on programs
- Seasonal peaks
- Large-scale campaign launches
What You Bring
- Multiple years in staffing, recruitment operations, or workforce management ideally in high-volume, multi-client, or field-based environments.
- Proven experience owning a large, business-critical staffing operation, not just running requirements.
- Strong leadership background comfortable building, scaling, and performance-managing teams.
- Experience with workforce planning, demand forecasting, talent pooling and redeployment models, high-volume or multi-market delivery.
- Commercially minded you understand how staffing impacts revenue, margin, and client trust.
- Highly operational and systems-driven process, data, and predictability matter to you.
- Comfortable working with ATS and staffing tech (TeamTailor a bonus).
- Calm under pressure, structured in chaos, and obsessed with delivery reliability.
- A builder’s mindset: you don’t just run systems, you design and improve them.
Why Join Ted?
- Competitive generous salary
- Commission structure to boost earnings
- Annual bonus scheme
- Private healthcare
- Free gym membership
- Cycle to work scheme
- Season ticket loan scheme
We’re scaling quickly and you’ll build the staffing engine that makes that possible. You’ll own one of the most mission-critical functions in the company. A culture of trust, pace, and performance. Smart tech. Sharp people. Work that matters.
