As part of a nationwide field force of over 100 Sales Executives, we’re committed to responsible selling, education, and delivering standout customer experiences in retail environments.

The Role

As an Area Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team of up to 12 field-based product sales advisors across a designated UK region. You’ll be the driving force behind their sales success, coaching, development, and daily execution. This is a field-based role requiring regular, in-person team visits to provide hands-on support and leadership.

You'll champion performance, identify new retail opportunities, and strategically match stores with your team’s individual strengths—maximising impact and unlocking sales potential.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Monitor real-time metrics, proactively addressing issues and escalating when needed
  • Deliver impactful field training, especially for new starters and underperformers
  • Uphold high standards of presentation, customer experience, and sales execution
  • Manage attendance and performance, including PIPs for consistent improvement
  • Strategic Sales Development
    • Identify and onboard high-potential retail environments in your region
    • Align the right stores with the right team members to drive sales output
    • Own your region’s sales targets and deliver sustained performance across all metrics
    • Ensure strong communication of IQOS’ value proposition and key product benefits.
  • Team & People Management
    • Be the go-to expert for your team on everything from sales techniques to store operations
    • Foster a positive, purpose-driven team culture with recognition and morale-building
    • Support onboarding, ongoing development, and tailored coaching for every team member
    • Maintain high standards of compliance, customer journey, and brand representation.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Submit detailed weekly plans, schedules, and daily reports on time
    • Analyse performance data to extract insights and take action
    • Oversee kit logistics, ensuring all equipment is fully functional and well-maintained

    What You’ll Need

    • A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
    • 2+ years’ experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a team management role
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • A proven track record in target-driven environments
    • High attention to detail and a passion for developing people

    What You’ll Get

    • A rewarding bonus structure tied to individual and team performance
    • Corporate expense card (petrol, parking, business costs)
    • 7 days paid training (covering product, reporting, systems, and sales techniques)
    • Company pension scheme
    • Career progression opportunities within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
