TECS is a specialist surveying and engineering company based in Chelmsford, delivering high quality surveying, monitoring, and geomatics solutions across a range of infrastructure and construction sectors throughout the UK. Our team combines technical expertise with modern surveying technology to provide accurate, reliable, and innovative solutions for complex engineering projects. Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to expand our team with an experienced Survey Engineer / Land Surveyor.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Land Surveying, Engineering Surveying, or similar roles
- Strong surveying knowledge (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Full proficiency with Leica and Trimble total stations, particularly monitoring series
- Strong experience with Trimble laser scanners
- Railway industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Full proficiency in survey data processing software including N4ce and Star*Net
- Familiarity with 3D laser scanner data processing software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Good IT knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Monitoring systems experience is advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Ability to work night shifts when required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Membership or working towards membership with CICES, RICS, or CIHT is advantageous but not essential
