Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated mechanical or electrical day shift engineer to join our client's team working on a large ultra-high end residential building in Knightsbridge. You will be working directly for the building as all maintenance is done in-house.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure building compliance by monitoring statutory requirements and maintaining up-to-date certification and logbooks.
  • Manage repairs and maintain safe, efficient operation of building systems, plant, and equipment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while handling reactive maintenance requests via Building Link and CAFM systems.
  • Monitor and operate building systems (BMS, HVAC, electrical, lifts), responding to faults, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Support team operations by reporting hazards, maintaining records, and assisting with emergency procedures and ongoing improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within high end residential or 5 star hotel environments.
  • 5 years of experience of working as an Engineer with a relevant electrical or mechanical qualification (minimum C&G/NVG Level 2, Level 3 preferred).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
