Job Reference: 1391 Job Title: Technical Supervisor Salary: £62,000 per annum Location: Reading, Berkshire Job Type: Technical / Engineering Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Job Summary We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Technical Supervisor to join our client's team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing an in-house M&E engineering team, as well as managing external contractors, across a brand-new, state-of-the-art commercial building in Reading. You'll play a key role in ensuring the building's M&E systems are maintained to the highest standards and that the site operates safely, efficiently, and effectively at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the in-house M&E engineering team. Coordinate and supervise external contractors on site. Ensure all M&E systems operate safely and efficiently. Carry out regular inspections and monitor plant and equipment. Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements. Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality standards are met. Respond to and resolve technical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records, reports, and maintenance documentation. Support the management team with technical advice and site requirements. Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.
Requirements
