Job Reference : 1322 Job Title : Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor Salary : £62,000 per annum Location : Moorgate, City of London Job Type : Technical / Engineering Working Hours : Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join an established engineering team at a high-end commercial office in the City of London.

This role is ideal for a mechanically biased supervisor with a strong building services background who is confident leading a team, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring high standards across HVAC and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the engineering team, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard. Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance and repairs across HVAC and mechanical systems. Support fault finding through a good understanding of BMS and control systems. Manage quality assurance, maintenance records and CAFM updates. Lead team performance, training, annual leave and timesheet approvals. Coordinate contractors, supply chain activities and spare parts management.
Requirements
Proven experience supervising mechanical engineers within a commercial building services or facilities management environment. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, valves, pipework and associated mechanical plant. Good understanding of BMS and mechanical control systems. Experience using CAFM systems to manage maintenance activities and documentation. Strong people management skills with experience leading engineering teams and supporting staff development.
Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline. Right to work in UK.
