Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Day Technician to join our client's engineering team within a prestigious commercial building in the City of London.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the building's electrical and mechanical systems. You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault-finding, helping to maintain a safe, reliable and fully operational environment. If you have a strong electrical maintenance background, excellent troubleshooting skills and experience working within a commercial building services environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities · Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems. · Responding to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns. · Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs. · Monitoring and maintaining electrical plant and equipment. · Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in line with relevant regulations and industry standards. · Completing accurate maintenance records, logbooks and reports. · Supporting the day-to-day operation of the engineering team. · Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements · NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation. · 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. · Experience within a commercial building / critical environment · Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills · A proactive approach to PPM and reactive maintenance · Right to work in UK What's on Offer · £50,000 per annum · Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm. · Opportunity to work within a prestigious commercial building. · Excellent opportunity to develop your career.
