Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated M&E Supervisor to join our client's team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the M&E services across the site, while supervising an on-site engineering team within a commercial building in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The position will involve directly supervising one engineer, alongside coordinating with external contractors and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all M&E services across the commercial site.
- Supervise and support one on-site engineer, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors carrying out M&E works on site.
- Carry out regular inspections of plant, equipment and building services to identify any issues or required remedial works.
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance is completed within agreed timescales.
- Respond to and manage M&E breakdowns and faults, ensuring minimal disruption to the building and occupants.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, compliance checks and contractor attendance.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety, statutory compliance and site procedures.
- Liaise with the client, building management and contractors to ensure the smooth running of the site.
- Assist with M&E projects, upgrades and improvement works as required.
Requirements:
- Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering
- Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing
- 3 years experience in a similar position
- Strong building services experience
- Strong supervisory experience
- Right to work in the UK
