Job Summary
We are looking for a technically strong Technical Supervisor to lead a team of engineers within a critical data centre environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical or mechanical background, with previous experience as a Shift Engineer, Senior Engineer or Technician looking to take the next step into supervision. HVAP experience is preferred but not essential, with training available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of engineers.
- Oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
- Diagnose and assist with resolving technical faults and issues.
- Ensure critical engineering systems are maintained safely and reliably.
- Monitor maintenance activities to ensure they are completed to the required standards.
Requirements
- Strong technical engineering background, preferably electrically biased.
- Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Experience within a data centre, critical environment, FM or similar technical environment.
- HVAP qualification preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Good knowledge of critical building services and engineering systems.
- Right to work in the UK.
