Job Summary: We are hiring on behalf of our client for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Shift Technician to join a critical and prestigious site in the heart of Cambridge. This role involves working as part of a large on-site engineering team, delivering reactive and planned maintenance across a range of M&E systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-presented engineer with strong communication skills who is looking to develop their career on a high-profile contract, with access to ongoing training and upskilling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reactive maintenance across site electrical and M&E systems
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
  • Working in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintaining accurate records and logbooks (including eLogbooks)
  • Ensuring QHSE documentation is kept up to date
  • Fault finding and repairs on electrical circuits
  • Installation and repair of plant and electrical services
  • Responding to callouts and emergency situations when required
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client contacts

Requirements:

  • Electrical City & Guilds / Level 3 (minimum)
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Experience working to Planned Preventative Maintenance regimes
  • Proven electrical installation experience
  • Strong fault-finding capability
  • Knowledge of other building services (advantageous)
  • Understanding of lone working requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
