Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead and coordinate a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring the effective delivery of planned preventative maintenance, reactive works and day-to-day engineering activities across commercial facilities in Brighton and Sussex. You'll be responsible for managing a team of engineers, fabric technician and 2 apprentices, providing technical guidance, supporting development and maintaining a strong focus on safety, service excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan, coordinate and oversee team workloads, deadlines and day-to-day activities to ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide holiday, training and sickness cover for other members of the engineering team.
- Guide team members in applying relevant engineering practices and procedures, sharing technical expertise and supporting effective teamwork.
- Help ensure PPM and reactive works are completed in accordance with applicable procedures, manufacturer requirements, asset needs and site standards.
- Managing a team of engineers, fabric technician and 2 apprentices.
Requirements:
- Proven Supervisory experience.
- Strong technical knowledge within a commercial facilities environment.
- Experience managing and coordinating engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and support the development of engineers and apprentices.
- Right to work in UK.
