Job Reference: 1235 Job Title: Residential Shift Engineer Salary: £54,000 per annum Location: Paddington Job Type: Technical/Engineering Working Hours: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights (7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am) Job Summary We're looking for a passionate and dedicated mechanical or electrical shift engineer to join our client's team at a prestigious, multi-purpose development in Paddington. The site comprises a 5-star hotel, luxury retail, restaurants, high-end commercial offices and ultra-high-end private residences. You'll be working in a busy, high-end environment where maintaining excellent standards and delivering first-class service are essential. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across building systems, plant and equipment. Monitor and maintain building systems, responding to faults, alarms and emergencies. Ensure statutory compliance by maintaining accurate records, logbooks and maintenance documentation. Deliver excellent customer service when responding to maintenance requests from residents, clients and building management. Assist with inspections, fault finding and ongoing improvements to building services. Work closely with the shift team to ensure the safe, efficient and smooth running of the building. Requirements Experience working within high-end residential, 5-star hotel or high-end commercial environments. Mechanical, electrical or plumbing maintenance background. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a confident and professional approach. Proactive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a busy shift team. Stable employment history with no frequent job changes. Right to work in the UK. What's on Offer £54,459 per annum, including shift allowance. 20 days annual leave. 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with two day shifts, two night shifts and four days off. <...
