Job Summary
We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious high-end commercial office site in the heart of Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled building services engineer to join a flagship commercial building, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring the site is maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services.
Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs and general maintenance.
Maintain HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and other mechanical plant.
Complete basic plumbing and general building services maintenance.
Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety legislation, and company procedures are adhered to at all times.
Supervise specialist contractors and monitor works to completion.
Maintain strong professional relationships with the client through excellent communication and service.
Complete maintenance reports, compliance documentation, and CAFM updates accurately and on time.
Support the planning and coordination of maintenance activities while identifying opportunities to improve building performance and efficiency.
Participate in a 1 in 4 call-out rota to provide out-of-hours engineering support.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a commercial building services environment.
City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent qualification in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
