Our client is looking to recruit a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee engineering operations within a high-end commercial building in Hemel Hempstead. You'll lead a small on-site engineering team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the building and ensuring all maintenance and compliance activities are delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the on-site engineering team, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Oversee statutory compliance, maintenance logbooks, and site documentation.
- Ensure electrical and mechanical building services are maintained to a high standard.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the building, responding to breakdowns and maintenance issues as required.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
Requirements
- Electrically qualified with an electrical bias.
- Previous experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
- Experience supervising engineers or looking to step into a lead role.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
