Contractor Controller in Surrey

Job Reference: 1341 Job Title: Contractor Controller Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum Location: Weybridge, Surrey Job Type: Facilities Management / Compliance Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Job Summary We're looking for an organised and proactive Contractor Controller to join our client's facilities management team in Weybridge. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing contractor attendance, compliance and documentation across a busy commercial environment. You'll ensure contractors meet all required site procedures, competencies and compliance standards, while coordinating attendance and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities · Manage contractor attendance and access to site. · Ensure contractors meet all required compliance and site procedures. · Carry out audits of subcontractor performance and documentation. · Manage legal and statutory compliance documentation. · Monitor and report performance against contract KPIs. · Maintain logbooks, records and compliance documentation. · Produce monthly subcontractor reports and reporting matrices. · Attend weekly planning meetings and coordinate contractor attendance. · Review RAMS, SSOW, competencies and contractor documentation. · Manage permits to work, including hot works, noise and confined space permits. · Manage contractor security clearance information. · Coordinate and record new starter inductions. · Ensure contractor activities comply with the required operating framework. Requirements · Previous experience in contractor management, compliance, facilities management or a similar environment. · Strong organisational and administrative skills. · Experience managing contractor documentation and compliance records. · Good understanding of RAMS, SSOW and permit-to-work procedures. · Confident dealing with contractors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. · Good IT skills with experience maintaining databases, records and reports. · Strong attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple contractors and tasks simultaneously. · Full UK Right to Work.
