Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mobile Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our client, supporting a portfolio of commercial sites across the South Coast. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial contracts, primarily across Southampton and Portsmouth, with additional coverage in Fareham and Whiteley. The role ideally suits an engineer with an electrical bias, although candidates with a strong mechanical building services background will also be considered. This is a multi-site, multi-client environment, so the successful candidate will need strong technical ability alongside excellent client-facing communication skills. If you have solid experience within building services maintenance and enjoy working in a mobile role supporting a variety of commercial environments, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical and mechanical building services systems.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance issues across multiple commercial client sites.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across electrical systems including lighting, small power, and distribution equipment.
  • Travel between multiple commercial sites across the South Coast.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience working within building services or facilities maintenance
  • Strong experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK Drivers license
