If you have a strong background in HVAC and LEV Engineering, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced HVAC & LEV Engineer to join their engineering team in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. You'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the site's HVAC and Exhaust Ventilation systems, acting as the technical authority and providing technical advice, governance, and support to engineering teams and third-party suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Technical Authority for Exhaust Ventilation systems and HVACs across the site
- Support Third-Party Suppliers and engineering teams by providing technical advice, best practice, and safe systems of work
- Ensure technical delivery is fully compliant and fulfils all relevant legal requirements
- Act as the point of contact for all HVAC/LEV service-related issues for Engineering Operations
- Review and sign off third-party service reports and follow up corrective actions for any faults identified
- Ensure the site's HVAC/LEV systems are maintained in accordance with current legislation, where applicable, and best available technology
- Liaise with all project teams on site to ensure current site standards are used and implemented
- Provide innovative ideas and technology solutions to improve business delivery
- Provide technical support and governance to projects
- Ensure all Quality Control systems and procedures are implemented and maintained
Requirements
- Strong technical background in HVAC and LEV engineering
- Previous experience working within an engineering, facilities maintenance, or technical environment
- Experience working with HVAC and LEV / Exhaust Ventilation systems
- Strong technical knowledge, fault-finding, problem-solving, and engineering skills
- Experience providing technical advice and support to third-party contractors and engineering teams
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, engineering standards, and safe systems of work
- Experience reviewing technical service reports and managing corrective actions
- Ability to provide technical governance and support to project teams
- Right to work in the UK
