We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Fire Damper Engineer to support our clients' growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, installing, and repairing fire dampers, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety standards, while also handling client liaison, technical guidance, reporting, mentoring junior staff, and rigorously enforcing Health & Safety protocols for HVAC fire protection systems. If you have a strong background in smoke control systems such as Dampers and AOVs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and drop testing dampers.
- Installing and repairing fire dampers.
- Remedial works.
- Compliance.
- Service and maintenance of AOVs.
Requirements:
- Recognized qualifications (like GT1F 04, BESA's DW 145)
- 5 years experience in a similar position
- UK Drivers License
- Right to work in the UK
- Live within an hour of the M25
